and in my inbox there was an email from livejournal notifying me that i had a message waiting on the site from someone i was unfamiliar with. normally i'd wait a while before hopping on the internet (it was like nine in the morning) but this message was different. why? well, the subject line was "plagiarism".
naturally, i hopped straight out of bed and pulled the link up on my computer and read the message. at first i was like this can't be real, can it? but then i clicked
the link in the message, and lo and behold:
this is mine:
in the comments section:
which, i guess, means that she only posted half of
my fic and is sitting on the second half to post later. plagiarism. again.
clearly:
so i post a comment on her entry:
and i'm waiting for a response. :| this post is mainly for ~screencapping evidence~ in case s/he deletes something. also, letting you know someone is plagiarizing and apparently has been plagiarizing kpop authors' work for a while now. which really pisses me off because 1) why would you even want to plagiarize someone else's fanfiction in the first place? there's no gratification because people won't even be praising your work. it's someone else's. also 2) i don't seem to be the only author this person has plagiarized. ugh.
update 1:
bubblexxtea made this post on her journal sometime this morning:
as you can see, she talked about how "her cousin" was the one who actually plagiarized my fic, and she has since deleted
the plagiarized entry (click for full screencap).
lovelyable commented on the new entry about past plagiarism
bubblexxtea has committed and i screencapped the page. a couple of hours later,
the post is still up, and
lovelyable's comment has mysteriously been deleted.
essyllus has contacted the original author of "
serendipity",
KageKitsune, via fanfiction.net PM and is waiting for a response.
wow. just. what. ~MORE ON THIS AS EVENTS UNFOLD~.
