I really like that you ran with the idea that Eduardo, after a certain point, was just ready to forgive him. That's sort of just how people are. Holding grudges is exhausting.

Anyway, the entire bathroom scene was PERFECT. And I kind of want to know what Dustin said to Mark after Eduardo and his hickeys cleared the premises... because I bet it was hilarious.
