So hey guys, I need an opinion (or seven).
I'm going to visit my family in Malaysia this April, and my mum decided to give my cousins (about 14 and 12) two Australian DVDs. We've decided on The Castle, but we're still tossing up between The Chaser's and Thank God You're Here.
On the one hand, TGYH is not particularly Australian, just...set in Australia, whereas Chaser's is as Australian as you can get. On the OTHER hand, is the Chaser's too Australian? Do you need to know stuff that you probably wouldn't if you didn't live here to get it all? There are the obvious things like politician harrassment and Anna Coren, but do you think that makes up too much of their content for my cousins to appreciate it?
(At the moment we're probably leaning towards TGYH, the safe option...)
