My husband and I are thinking of moving from the US (we're in Seattle) to AU, and the cities we're currently thinking about are Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. One of the folks on Melbournemaniac asked on the list, "If Melbourne was a person, what would they be?" and the answers were so evocative that I am wondering how you folks would answer the same question.
