Daily advantages and disadvantages

In the past 24 hours, I have literally slept 16 of them. Sixteen hours. Something must be wrong with me... or maybe its my body's way of saying SLOW THE FUCK DOWN. Or maybe.. I just really like sleeping. WHO KNOWS!?!?!

Anyway, I'm up now and ready to do something. I've been full of this overwhelming desire to do something creative for the past few weeks. Write a book, do a painting, interior decorate, design clothes... something! I blame it solely on Bravo and their addictive Wednesday night lineup. Speaking of which, FINALLY! Joe is finally gone from Project Runway and I couldn't be happier. Straight men have no place in the world of fashion design, at least not on Bravo. Farewell O bearded one.

So I have to be at work tomorrow morning at 8:30 for a ridiculous Front of House meeting in which we are discussing WHO KNOWS WHAT for WHO CARES amount of reasons. This job is ridiculous. I'm a fucking waiter. Greet. Take Order. Place order. Wait. Serve food. Check back. Drop bill. Take tip. Voila. Do we reeeeeeeeeeeeally need a meeting?

I had a dream last night that was W-I-L-D. There were four people, including me, who were lost in the woods. We were following this river to try to find civilization, and eventually did, but it felt like a movie. There were a lot of tears and fights and someone even died. No clue what that was about.

I'm procrastinating right now, LJ has finally gotten back to its original purpose: distraction. I have copious amounts of homework to complete by tomorrow night, but I do not wish to do so.

The countdown is on for moving back to NH. Lots can go wrong, so I hope everything just is a smooth sailing adventure.

Alice is sitting in my lap now, purring. She just woke up from one of her many daily naps and is in desperate need of attention. It'll be just a few seconds before she tires of the petting and will snap back and bite me to let me know she's done. OW! Yep, see?

I don't know if anyone saw last week's SNL, but I did.. and loved it. Seriously, that show has been my favorite program since 8th grade, and not much has changed. Tina Fey continues to make my heart palpitate with love, Kristen Wiig continues to steal the show, and I appreciate every moment we have with Amy Poehler as she announced she'd be leaving after November.

Here's a clip you ought to all have seen:

Classic. I love the accent, and use it daily.

Well, my international business textbook is giving me the ugly eye because it hasn't been opened in a week, so I oughta get to that.

Til next time
