We took G blueberry picking today. Now, blueberries are my favorite fruit, but i also think the bushes that they grow on are beautiful. And I love the shade of blue that they are. So - it was $2 a pint and you could pick as much as you wanted. My son showed far more restraint than I did. He actually put them in the bucket, while I just picked and ate them. We walked all the way to the end of the planted row, where the man told us the best ones were, and we filled the bucket. by the time we got back to the parking lot, I was covered with blueberry juice; on my face and hands like a little kid. I had eaten so many that I got a tummy ache. And when I looked down, there was a bracnch from one of the bushes stuck in my shoe. It's a beautiful color purple, and it's as long as the tip of my finger to my elbow. It occurred to me that it would be a great wand for me, for spring. We payed the man for our pints (and extra for what I'd eaten). We all had fun out doors toghether, and now i have a new wand to dedicate. I have to find something to do with all the fruit!
