Yeah.
So here is what they consider when they are screening people to be organ donors:
- Blood type (According to one doctor, the other says it isn't an issue)
- Diabetes
- Blood pressure
- Infections
- Allergy to the dye
- Which organ has better blood supply to be harvested
The procedure is done laproscopicly through the belly button. (Huh!)
Basicly the only criteria that might be an issue is the bp. I have to go on a diet and start exercising so that my bp comes down. I have about a year to get it under control. I would advise everyone to approach me with caution, as this also means that i have to cut back on the caffeine.
