Today was the usual run around. I worked on my resume, dropped by work to pick up tip outs and a shift, and took care of a tuition payment. Rewind back to running up to work. I drove the usual route "Fernwood to Greentree to Old Georgetown to Downtown Bethesda." Im drivin along in the 2 crossing the intersection at Arlington Road when I saw something. My concious continued along but my mind took a second to observe. There was a man who looked like a very stereotypical plumber sitting against the tree on the corner playing a flute. It was so unexpected that I needed a moment. It made me think that in all the noise and rush of urban chaos the most unlikely of people can find a peaceful state. Hehe go ahead and laugh if you will at the appearent cheese of this all. But I was able to draw from this a further state of refreshing relaxation.
