Manhattan numb to the economic crunch
I just witnessed some tool pay $13.50 for lunch at a nearby deli. What did he get? One of those "you-pick-the-ingredients" salads and a bottled soft drink. Meanwhile I went for the frugal $4.95 lunch special which gets you half a sandwich and a small soup which I washed down with free spring water from the company cooler. And every other day this week I brown-bagged it. $13.50, seriously. I could make like three dinners for that amount. Aforementioned tool will probaly go get a $5 latte later this afternoon.
