wednesday--i went to six flags new orleans with my cousin wendy, uncle bill and aunt cathy. oh and i realized that my aunt and cousin didnt come into town until wed night, not tues, but either way both nights, but either way i was on the sofa bed with the exception of the first night. luckily my aunt were willing to share a bed so i was allowed to keep my sofa bed.
six flags was pretty good, rode pretty much everything in the park except for the little rides. we were rained out a couple of hours around lunch time, but thankfully it cleared up. at least the crowds were scared away and we didnt have to wait long in line. we were able to watch a couple of shows while waiting for the rain to stop.
we had to be back early to have the big family reunion. 20+ relatives in one resteraunt. what should have lasted a couple of hours lasted until 11. but at least i got lots of good seafood. too bad i didnt recognize barely any of them, so it was all "look at how much you've grown" and "you're out of high school already, i cant believe it". after the first 15 times it got pretty tiring.

thursday-nothing much happened. we went to the cemetary where the peters crypt is to put some flowers on it (where my granny was put a few years ago) and then took a cemetary tour and learned some good history although the tour guide was a little creepy. i did get to pet the cemetary cat (who did have a home but liked to sleep in the shades of the crypts) named monet.
we walked around new orleans down to french quarter to check out the shops, but was rained out again so we didnt get much.
