(no subject)
i know it's friday and i havent been able to update but once so far on this trip. things have just been really busy, in fact i'm typing this while waiting in line for the hair dryer before i head off to six flags with my cousin.
on monday we went to the zoo and the aquarium. my aunt arrived later that night so we went to the imax and saw "sharks 3D". i expected the movie to be better since it was trying to discredit a lot of the stigma of sharks, but they played the jaws theme music several times. not a very good image of sharks. but oh well.
we pretty much walk everywhere. it's rare that we call for the car although we have riden the cable car down to the zoo and took the boat back up to the aquarium. (there arent very many parking places, so there has to be a valet service for the cars, which is really cool! seems a little to rich for me though) walking around at night is a little creepy though. homeless people are sleeping in every alley and cove, and weird drunks stumble down the street. one of them tried to make friends with my uncle and my aunt had to yell at him to get him to go away. it was very strange.
i'm over my stomach bug for the most part thankfully. occasionally i still wake up a little sick, but i havent puked yet. we've been eating great though! the hotel has complimentary breakfast every day of eggs, sausage, french toast, waffles, muffins, doughnuts, etc... in the evenings we've been eating out pretty much every time (or eating the complimentary dinner at the hotel).
well we're about to head off to six flags, so i gotta go. i'll try to update more later since it's friday and i've only covered monday!
