Literally a bouncing fish

So my cousin sent this to me via email. give her some credit...she's like, 10. but I thought it was pretty funny...and there were supposed to be pictures, but they didn't work...so...read and laugh.

This was a pretty interesting story from The Sunday Wichita Eagle Newspaper a couple of weeks ago. A resident in the area saw a ball bouncing around kind of st! range in a nearby pond and went to nvestigate. It turned out to be a flathead catfish who had obviously tried to swallow a child's basketball which became stuck in its mouth!!

The fish was totally exhausted from trying to dive, but unable to because the ball would always bring
him back up to the surface. The resident tried numerous times to get the ball out, but was unsuccessful. He finally had his wife cut the ball in order to deflate it and release the hungry catfish.

I wish i could have seen it!
haha...
anyway. that's my amusing story for the day. Also, who would have expected to be playing with lego for 40 minutes with 3 eighteen year old guys, acting like they were seven. Not me. but it was a hell of a lot of fun!

sigh. weekend...here i come!
