So anyway, ow I'm sitting in Chem 2020, which is a second year organic chemistry course... I have absolutely no idea what the professor is talking about. Someone just asked me if I knew what chapters would be on the exam, I responded with a quick "no". This is fun. I have to take this course next year.
So now it's next year, and I'm taking this course. Actually, there's a story here (there's always a story, right?). Today I was sitting in lecture and we started new chapter (which means I'm now three chapters behind instead of two). Each chapter in the powerpoint slides has a different color, and one of the things I remember when I was sitting all the way in the back last year was that they were orange. So today, when he pulls up the Alkynes chapter, guess what color... BLUE! no, it was orange lol. So as soon as I saw that I knew I had to parouse (I like the word parouse) though my old LJ and see when it was when I wrote that entry. And wouldn't you know, the date was the 22nd! And TODAY is the 22nd! (Ok, so I haven't gone to sleep yet, but I still checked it on the same day- these are small details). I thought that was an odd coincidence. Life is full of odd coincidences. We must write about all of them.
So this is where I get all nostalgic and think about how much more I know now than I knew back then. I know a fuckload more organic chem, that's for sure. The only thing I remember hearing last year was about atomic orbitals (and that freaked the shit out of me, because up until 2 months ago I hated atomic orbitals. Now they're easy). And I remember thinking that the prof was really boring. I now know the prof, and I know that he's actually not that boring. I also know now that he hates laptops in his lectures, and I'm not sure how I got away with sitting in the back with one for an hour without him noticing or yelling at me (another thing was that the back was like empty... and this year it's never empty. Weird.)
Anyways, I've come to realize that organic chem is like a huge uphill battle... there's just so much work. I've been trying to catch up but I had other shit to do (like party! WHOOO!) I try to do a little bit each night, but I feel like I'm neglecting everything else (probably because I am).
I'm surprised because I usually tend to write about marks and school and stuff, but this year I haven't really done that and we're almost done first semester. Actually, I haven't written about anything. But that's ok - it's always here for me to write in, write? I mean, right? I'm tired.
Tomorrow I have to dissect a dogfish shark. Did I mention I dissect stuff now? No, probably not. Well I do. And it's fun. I'm also skipping my first class, which isn't organic chem, but biochem, which deserves a nice long bitch-LJ to itself. So I'll leave it at that for now.

I know it’s late and all, but I just heard that the Spice Girls are going on a reunion world tour! That’s soo coool....

... that is was May 22nd. 2005. I guess you could say it took them a while. So see, whatever I wrote about in here in the past comes true in the future! Spice Girls start their tour next month, Smash Brothers Brawl is coming out in 2 months, and I'm currently enroled in organic chemistry! See. IT ALL COMES TRUE! I should check, no parouse through my entries and see what else I said would happen later, and see if it happened. SOO MUCH FUN!!!
