One day I'll live in this city of the North, surrounded by French-Canadians who will not even speak to the dumb American. (By this time, our reputation in the world will have sunk as such). Luckily for me, the joke is on them, since people the world over know the Canadian government is really just America Junior.
I will stay in a small apartment and work a modest job and each day explore a new park and see a new statue until I've seen them all.
Then finally, I can begin to feel the gray sadness of winter.
