"By my innocence I swear and by my youth
I have one heart, one bosom, and one truth,
And that no woman has, nor never none,
Shall mistress of it be, save I alone."
~Viola, from Twelfth Night by Shakespeare (who else?...he really is growing on me, it must have to do with a certain Joseph Fiennes who plays said Shakespeare in a certain movie).
Yesterday and today too actually have been pretty hectic. Yesterday I worked after school to 4:30 came home, ate supper, went to the gym, and did my homework. I did literally nothing else than those things...no recreation for me.
Today, I thought was going to be a calm day and I would have a nice treat of Bible study this evening. Well, it was not to be.
Seton Hill called and told me I was eligible for the full scholarship contest. I don't know if that's because the SAT score requirement was for all three parts of the SAT instead of just Math and Critical Reading (there was an article in the paper the other day saying Seton Hill uses those two parts and the Writing) or if they just made an exception for me because it was so close. But regardless the problem was that the deadline to apply is March 1. And I need an essay and recommendations, and all kinds of fun stuff. So to get it there in time, I will have to fax it tomorrow. So I had to call Mrs.Kerns and Mrs.Dunlap at their homes to ask them to write me recommendations by tomorrow (i have to take the english route for the scholarship, as french is not a major at seton hill unless it is French Education and education doesn't count for the scholarship, you're just supposed to use what the education certification is in, and the teachers are supposed to write about my strengths in that field of study). So anyway they both said they would, I felt bad about asking on such short notice, but I'm not going to pass up the chance of a full scholarship. So this evening instead of going to Bible Study I wrote my essay. Which I just now e-mailed to my brother who is going to proof-read it for me. So that's what happened to me. Not that I'm complaining about it, it is good news that I at least have a chance, but it did make things kind of hectic.
Oh yeah, and Beth and I did our Shakespeare scene today. I actually didn't think it went that well, but Mrs. Gordan seemed to like it, so all's well that ends well.
Well that's about all I have to say, peace and long life.
You Are Strawberry Cake
Fresh, sassy, and romantic.
You're a total flirt, who never would turn down a sugary treat.
Occasionally you're a bit moody - but you usually stay sweet!
What Kind of Cake Are You? As for this quiz, I am not a flirt, but I kept trying to change answers to get a different answer and it wouldn't work. So I guess the rest of the quiz besides the flirt part must be accurate or it would have went away.
