Today was somewhat better than yesterday. It still was not good, but better. I kept messing things up again though. I screwed up my Spanish test, I could not remember whether I was supposed to use ser or estar for these 5 sentences...which when thinking back on, I wouldn't have even needed to do if I would have worded the sentences differently...oh well, I'm sure it won't effect my grade. Spanish started interestingly enough as well:
Senora: Luisa, what did your sidekick do?
Me: What? My sidekick?
Senora: Yes, Herberto. He's been suspended.
Me: I have no idea, I didn't even know he was suspended.
Anyway the little boy (well, actually he is taller than me and 15 really isn't that much younger than 17) punched some kid in his gym class and got himself suspended. While yet another of the kids has got in her head that vitamins make her sick:
Rosa: You're smart, are vitamins supposed to make you feel better?
Me: Well, I don't think they're really supposed to heal you, they're supposed to help prevent you from getting sick.
Rosa: My parents have been making me take vitamins lately and now I always get sick. It's the vitamins, they make me get sick, they don't prevent me from getting sick.
They are strange kids.
I have bible study this evening, yay! I was going to go to the gym...but I'm afraid bible study takes precedence. Haha, well I'm going to go do some homework, fun, fun. Peace and long life.
