"The sky is blue,
She wishes.
The moon rises full,
She dreams.
She wishes.
Desires stretch before her;
She dreams,
Doubting reality meets her ideal.
Desires stretch before her,
She reaches forward with hope.
Doubting reality meets her ideal,
Knowing it never will.
But tears must end somewhere,
The moon rises full
And a light glimmers in her eyes.
The sky is blue."
Last night was very enjoyable. When I made my comment yesterday about little kids that excludes Colten and Suzy (Anna's two kids), they are so cute. And the things they say. This was Colten's prayer at supper: "Thank you god for the food...and my trunks...amen." Berkeley's superior throwing skills allowed our block building to triumph and become the house built on a solid foundation. And of course no bible study sleepover is complete without red light, green light-haha, even if I did almost kill myself. And of course Anna's food was soooo good, as always.
Symphony this morning was not bad. We got new music, it doesn't seems too bad. The one song is called Song of India...and Istvan was being weird about it. His comments about the song were: "you (referring to the whole orchestra, not me in particular) are not feeling the emotion. It is a romantic song, you are not feeling the love. Maybe Valentine's Day will help. But picture India...with the cows walking on the road...beautiful and loving." Yes, the cows, beautiful and loving, I love it when he says stuff he doesn't mean to. It always cracks me up.
As for today, I've got a Stats take home test, a spanish project, and two more essays to write. So plenty of things to do. Well, I'm done for now, peace and long life.
