"Of one that loved not wisely but too well" ~Othello

Wow, I vastly underestimated how much work this is going to take. I just now finished essay number one. Granted I started at like 2:30. But still, I still have four more to go! And it was pure torture. How am I going to write four more of these without going mad? I am referring to the Othello take home test by the way. We have a paper with a list of essay topics and we have to pick five of them. They are not easy questions and Mrs. Dunlap has not given much guidance on how long they are supposed to be. But we are supposed to be sure to include quotes and talk about all obvious ideas and include obscure ones as well. My first essay was 5 pages. With four more essays that's 20 pages! This is ridiculous. What's more the topics don't particularly intrigue me, and I keep changing my mind about what I think about the character and about whether I completely detest the play or if it's my favorite play that I've read by Shakespeare. It has me all confused and I don't like it.

On other topics I also practiced the piano and oboe, and talked to Allyn for awhile on the phone (who is also being tortured by Othello). This evening we are going to watch An Inconvenient Truth, the documentary about Global Warming by Al Gore. So hopefully that will be a nice break for me from the un-pleasantries of Othello. Well I'm done, peace and long life.
