More requests of lj peoples out there. Does anyone know of a free data recovery system? I screwed up a couple of settings on a new hard drive and ended up formatting the old one. Everything seems to still be there, but every program I've tried or looked at wants me to pay for their product before they'll let me do anything but look at my lost files. They're all "no, you can't have a pony! Not yours! Not until you pay $49.99 for something you'll never use again!" Any help would win either my eternal appreciation or admiration. Or both.
