Hello

I'm glad Christmas is just around the corner. This past Tuesday, after my appointment with my doctor at Counseling Associastes Inc., My grandmother took me to Wal-Mart, where I got the Van Helsing DVD and Harry Potter 3 DVD, and then she took me to Hastings so I could get my mom the Secondhand Lions DVD. (My parents were in Little Rock b/c of my Dad's appointment, so that's why my Grandmother was taking me places.) Actually, I'm glad it was her, because I got to buy my parents Xmas gifts without worrying about them finding out what they were that day. My grandmother asked what I got at Hastings, but she didn't ask about the other two DVDs. And even if she did knew, I doubt she would tell my parents what I got them before Xmas, since she told me what she got my mom (a ring), and she wanted me to keep quiet about that.
My brother couldn't wait unil Christmas, so he already got his present: one of those big stereo CD systems with a remote. I can wait for the big day to receive my gifts though. I told my parents I want a blue GameBoy Advance SP along with the classic NES The Legend of Zelda game. I have my suspicions that they got me something else as well, because my brother said he knew what they got me, and he said it wasn't a GB Advance. Hmmm........I really don't want a stereo system. My room is full of stuff as it is, and I'm just fine with the boom box I have. It might be a computer, even though I really don't need my own at this time. I've been thinking about buying my own computer this coming summer.

I have to work tomorrow, from 3:00 in the afternoon to closing, which is at 6, so I should be out of Burger King by 7:30. (That night I closed because a co-worker went home b/c she was sick, the manager had to teach me how to close, since I never done it before. If I remember correctly, it took an hour and a half for three people to close.) Part of me wants it to take at least an hour to close, since this week is a bad week for me regarging the amount of hours I get. Well, the main manager said that it's a bad week for everyone, because of Xmas, and also b/c of the new people that are being trained. Because of the training of the new people, other people's shifts are messed up, since a lot of ppl cannot be on the clock when there's not much business.

Oh yeah...the snow finally came here. It started Wednesday, and it's still out, but it looks like most of the snow has already melted. This is good, since I definately don't want to have to be kept from going to work.

Guess what? I made the Dean's List! My 3.50 Grade Point Average, along with my 12 credit hours of work this fall semester, has earned me the great selection. I got the letter on Tuesday, congratulating me. I made 3 A's and 1 C, and I know that I could have done better in History. If I was totally dedicated to my work, I'm sure I could have made all A's. Oh well...I can learn from this and do better this coming spring semester. However, as far as I know for now, I'm taking 17 credit hours, so I definately have to be dedicated in order to keep my GPA up.

P.S.-I forgot to mention this on my last entry: my brother's 19th birthday was Saturday, December 11. He got exercise equipment for a gift. This past Saturday, he went to Car Mart and tried to purchase a car, but my mom had to be there to co-sign, since he doesn't have a job, and she was with my dad, taking me to work. Why would someone try to purchase a vehicle from a car place when he or she doesn't have a job? LOL. As expected, he didn't get the car. Since he isn't in school, he can apply for a full time job. That way, he can get plently of hours and earn the money needed to have a car. I guess he's just lazy. Well, do I have room to talk? I spent three years without a job, just staying at home and thinking psychotic thoughts, and being a lazy psychopath. My situation was different than his though. I had mental problems. I was messed up. Now that I'm on Paxil CR, I'm doing pretty good.

Well, that's it for now. Merry Christmas Eve everybody!

love
Steven
