56 books last year, plus whatever I've forgotten. Slightly over one a week which is rather slow I reckon. Having a smart phone has slowed things down because I now read the internet on the way to and from work. Perhaps the novelty will wear off a bit and I'll get back to reading. Is The Secret History Donna Tartt's? If so, that and maybe the Jeeves books (can't remember which ones I've read) are the only ones on your list I've read at all! What was The City & The City like? Any good?

Also "Sherlock Holmes & The Scroll of the Dead" wasn't much cop either. Others in the series are better apparently which shouldn't be hard if they have a) a mystery and b) some detection.
I've reviewed most of these books on the reading tag. Although I now realise I missed out Cyberabad Days, one of the best reads of the year. I'm looking forwards to Dervish House.
