The Punisher!
This weekend just passed me and my gorgeouse girl Claire went to my sister Lynsay's to see her and the kids. Those damn kids its enough to make a guy go get the snip! well anyway it was a good time when the kids went to bed coz me, Claire and my two sisters sat up talking about old times and bitching about what a cow our fatty stepmother is, Claire loves hearing stuff like this coz it gives her her own chance to tell me what she thinks of my family, and just like the rest of us the only one she dislikes is my step-mom. Got the Punisher dvd imported cheap for like £5.99 rather than paying £16.99 coz well im a typical student and know all the best sites for importing the latest dvds and ps2 games all legit and cheap, got burnout 3 aswell for £10.99. anyways Punisher is an awesome movie, thats what i love about Marvel comics it has a darkside with comic strips like this one, Blade, and Ghost Rider.
Frank Castle (Tom Jane), a retired FBI agent seeks revenge for the death of all of his family by Howard Saint (John Travolta), a mobster and rich rich geezer who's son was killed in an FBI undercover operation led by Frank Castle. Tradgic beginning watching all his family die but breath taking action throughout, gripping storyline, and explosive ending. Very true to the Marvel comic strip, very graphic aswell, i give it a ten out of ten. For people who don't know Marvel comics that much but say that there favourite comic book hero is Spiderman or Wolverine, check this guy out! I'm a big Marvel fan and some DC (mainly just Batman as he is very much like the Punisher), i like a heroic character who is dark, and just an everyday Joe with military experience and nothing to live for so no fear of losing something. Without any super powers he is vulnerable so he doesn't have super strength or the power of flight, it's cool it gives it a sense of realism (verisimilitude).
anyway i guess what i'm trying to say is that the best part of my weekend was watching the Punisher twice, so go buy it, DO IT NOW, GET OFF YOUR BUTTS, NOW, NOW, NOW, I SAID NOW!
