truly there. all it took was getting back up on the money train, I guess. well, likely not. Just the whole self-sufficiency thing really helps... I missed it, and I'm happy to be able to get my own lunch and my own, well, fun again.
work is fun, and boring. it's training, and our teacher has all the charisma of a wet sack full of tofu. ah well, they wanna pay me for 5 weeks of training? I'll take it, and gladly. we've had two tests, and between the two of them, I rank 2nd best in the class, despite me basically ignoring the lectures. oh well, I like moneys.
In fact, yesterday - Friday, some of the class was retesting, so we couldn't advance with the class. so, all 14 of us sat in class and joked around, and ended up playing 20* Questions. Bam, 72 dollars in the hole. easiest money I've made. I even stumped people with the answer of "a hanger".
(*: meaning, we went until people figured it out.)
I'm really happy with everything. I got my ass an xbox 360, I'm getting mad paid - even for training - and Brittany's doing well, too. she got a job at teleperformance too. she's feeling better - which helps me, I'm sure.

my allergies are kicking up, but I'm dealing with it. sad thing is that allergies have the exact same symptoms as the fucking swine flu, so people think I'm walking death. I'm not, tho, which is nice. well, not as nice as "not having allergies", but well enough. they're just seasonal in Spring and Fall, and I'm surprised that they took so long to come around this year.

in other news, as of the.... 9th or something, I'll be on the lease, and shortly after that, I'll start saving for a car. my dad says he'll help me out with that purchase, and brittany wants to go in on it, too, so if all goes well, we should have a car by midsummer, if not early summer. before that, though, we wanna get cable and internet, so I can finally post from places that are my home.
