So johnkerry.com sent out this thank you, blah blah e-mail thing supposedly written by John Kerry himself. It contained the following sentence: "In America, it is vital that every vote counts, and that every vote be counted." I can't decide which bothers me more about the sentence--the fact that it's hypocritical since he conceded the election before all the votes had been counted, or the glaring grammatical error right in the middle. It should be, "it is vital that every vote count." It's called the subjunctive, John Kerry. I expect better of you.

Yes, the grammar bothers me more. That is kind of sad. But I'm getting numb to all this election crap. I'm still bitter and all, but I'm getting tired.
