Life is alright.
Today is the first day after spring break. Break was pretty good, I went to 3 different bookstores and just sat and read. Waldenbooks is having a sale, 3 mangas for the price of two. I also bought a book about rats. Later, after Bell Choir, I drove to Lansing and back, to pick up shirts for my dad's work. They are going to Florida for Sun & Fun. He's hosting the GRT EFIS booth.
Today was also the first game for softball. We played Muskegan, and this was their first year with a JV team. They didn't do very well; they did not have good pitchers or catchers, and basically killed themselves. We mercied them like, 19-0 in two innings. I kind of felt bad. Or coach told us to stop stealing, and she had the runners leave the base early so they'd be called out. It was sad.
But hey, we won. My friend R's friend died in a car accident during spring break. Drunk driver hit them. This is her second friend who has died from a car accident. Also during break, her brother didn't come home for a week (after he was supposed to be gone for a day) and her mom said 'he was dead, and she was glad.' He wasn't, but yeah. Shitty spring break.
One of my other friends really needs an outlet for her family issues. Her dad said he doesn't want her to talk about it, but she has no one to tell, since she can't always go to her therapist. She was telling me some stuff, and she burst into tears. I hate when I am in that kind of situation, because I suck at comforting people. I don't know. I need to hang out with my friends more often.
