who knows why i'm writing in this thing? anybody? bueller?
cuz im fucking bored out of my mind and dont wanna catch up on my reading and cant fall asleep for my thursday afternoon before hockey nap. so i'll pull out all the stops and along with the daily routine of facebook, myspace, and collegehumor and break.com, i'll write in the live journal.
lets update ya with the world of rik first i guess.
school sorta sucks. im 2 books behind in writing. all we're reading is like these depressing coming of age stories which are like interesting and the books that keep me turning the pages instead of closing them, but as i said, they're depressing. physics, i cant remember the last time i went to that lecture. we're sposed to have a make up lecture on sunday...fuck that. calc 2, my professor is still a nut and ill find out my midterm score tomorrow. wish me luck if you read this by then. I GOT A B IN SPACECRAFT INSTRUMENTATION. that means that if anyone decides to build a transportation devise that will exit our atmosphere, then im your guy to call. and ive just started some computer class where i have to write programs that tell manufacturing machines what to do...should be pretty damn sweet and cool, but tediuos as fuck at the same time.
ive been playing a lot of fucking guitar. a lot. pretty much nothing but acoustic too. when you get your first acoustic guitar(and you already have a general idea of how to play and some decent skill), then its really hard to put that 6-string down. my latest craze is trying to find a rap song that i can cover acoustic style. some guy did a cover on collegehumor.com of an usher song and it really got me interested in doing my own sort of cover.
im pumped about a few shows that are coming up in which i will be attending. ill start off by saying that big d played a free show here at bu and it was awesome(minus the fact that i had to leave early for hockey). next on the list is hellogoodbye playing a free show at bu as well. i also have 4 tickets to see dashboard at assumption college on the 24th of march. however i have one person to go with. if your the one in a million that read this, and youre interested, give me a call. then, me, hopefully mr e., and a few dudes from 4west shall be trekking down to RI to see COHEED AND A7X. you have no idea how pumped i am to see coheed. and we have seats instead of general admission. which totally sucks in one sense, but for the fact that i can totally see coheed having a sweet stage show with props and crap, im kinda glad ill get to watch it instead of watching my head for crowdsurfing dudes' balls and girls' flailing arms. then, last but most certainly not least...alkaline trio with against me! it will be the, um, 3rd time i think that ill be seeing alkaline. i love them. sooooooooo much.
