yes boys and girls in the end...as of this week it will be my last full week at brookfield zoo b/c this guy got herself a full time big girl job!!!! I will be working at RRAF its a center for adults with mental handicaps. i will be teaching them basic life skills-kinda like what you are doing mary sanders!!! Its full time monday-friday 8-4, paided days off, paided vactions, weekends off, holidays off, full benfits...the down sides: its in Lombard and i will only make (starting out) $24,000 a year. But you know what its a start and i will be working sundays at the zoo dispatching and some if not all holidays there as well for extra money (my gas money to and from Lombard lol). Im really excited at the same time nervous as well, and kinda sad. I have been at the zoo for over 7 years and 8 summers, i started on march 27th 2000....so yeah. that is the big news in my life. I just hope this is the start to a clean slate, something i really need now, after the summer and year i have been having.
and tonight....i went to kickboxing and guess who i saw??? My old neighbor Maura!!!! Maura, Sarah, and I were the bestest freinds when we were all young lol...its crazy, and now she will be going to kickboxing to lose some of her baby weight she gained when she was prego lol. So that will be fun too.
as for me this week (well as of saturday) my house is empty but me and the anermails. Its really lonly here so i would love it if people would stop by lol. Yesterday tiff came w/ me after work and i changed and let the dog out and chilled there for a bit. then last night Britt, Johnny, and Johnnys cousin Josh came over and we all chilled. It just kinda sucks b/c i HAVE to come home after work this week so i can let the dog out and all that good stuff. and i really hate takeing care of a house lol. I do NOT want to own one untill im at lest 35ish lol, ok maybe a lil before then but still, its alot of work. I will be quit happy w/ a lil old 3 bed room condo for now, even a 2 (i want an extra room for an office and one for a workout room as well, that is why i say 3, 2 i would have to share the office with another room-can you see how much i want to move out). and tiff is looking for a job, and hopefully we can get a place together soon, or even (sorry tiff) maybe jen b/c well Lombard is like 15 min. away from her house....we will just have to see how things work out. don't count your chickens before the eggs hatch...i tend to do that alot lol.
