I did indeed have every intention of posting -something- yesterday evening, provided I was able to do so (see: yesterday's post), but the call of Azeroth was simply far too great. The guild progresses with blinding speed, compared to its predecessors; I remain unsure whether this has to do with the fact that we're piggy-backing on the tried and true strategies of many people that came before us, or whether we are simply that good. In terms of execution, yes, we are faring well; I'd go so far as to say that we are rivaling a lot of top-level people in terms of performance. I cannot wait for Ahn'qiraj, and with it, the opportunity to formulate winning strategies for new content; that's what I really want, to flex the mental muscle as it pertains to our success. If we're truly as good as we think/say/act like we are, then that right there will be the biggest test. I look forward to stepping up to the challenge.
Note to self: Talk to Flay about the viability of mind controlling mages during the Razorgore encounter, as opposed to outright nuking them. They possess a powerful arcane explosion, which would not only be handy for thinning out the number of adds, but also pulling aggro off of the kiters, so they don't have to work quite as hard. Couple of ways we could go about it, though, 'cause if we MC'd enough mages in tandem, we could very well wipe out whole groups of adds, simply by spamming the AE. Might actually be easier than kiting, but I dunno. Just an idea.
Apologies for my posting inane garbage about World of Warcraft. WTB [Life] PST.
