-sometimes, as hard as it may seem, it is better to say what you feel. sometimes people take advantage of the silence, or they just dont know what theyre doing. if you can build up the courage to voice your opinion on a topic, and talk about it civilly and reach an agreement on something, things will seem easier. plus sometimes it just feels better getting things off your chest and letting the person know what theyre doing. you shouldnt worry about who it is or what it has to do with, you shouldnt always live your life conforming to other peoples actions/words. form your own road and let other people conform around you too.
as for the rest of it, theres nothing new i can say. im sure youve heard it all. just keep doing what youre doing because youre doing good. youve learned alot about maddie's stages (crying to screaming and such) and you are teaching her not to cry in public. shes learning from you. shes developing her morals from what you are teaching her. and its only been two months. if i were you, id be proud. i dont think i was taken out in public so soon. although i cant remember, but you really are doing good. youre a strong person. look around you, how many other people your age could do what youre doing? i think you could count the tally with your fingers...just hang in their rachel.
