The night grows longer and sleep has not yet claimed me. The weight of the week has not broken me, still I stand.
I've had a long week. 10 hour days M, W, Th, and 11.25 on T... I'm looking forward to the weekend. I took a half day tomorrow. The plans were to head home and have dinner with the fam, but when I heard about the east end fest this Friday, I changed my mind.
Last year I think I got a touch of food poisoning before the EEF. I ended up calling mfisher and Maria to come rescue me as I was in a rough state. This year will be different. And I'll probably bring ear plugs.
Modified agenda: work, home, nap, pack, meet up with Elizabeth & Kim, wander though the east end fest, and then head home around 9ish. I'll make it back to Perry around 1am I think.
I'm weary but not yet tired. I'm looking forward to seeing my folks this weekend. Dad has a new shed that we'll fill with firewood, and Mom said she needs my help with some things too. And I'll get to see Grandma too. There is something I should claim as well....
