God I'm bored. Here's some randomness.
So I've had this really bad dry cough for about a month now. I havent had a fever, runny nose, sore throat, stomache cramps, nausa or any other symptom that usually comes with being sick - so my mother decided it was finally time to take me to the doctor. Let me start off by saying that I hate hospitals. The little blood pleasure thing that wraps around your arm kept reading "error" whenever they put it on me. Which means that according to the machine, I'm dead. They tried this four times, with three difforent machines, same effect every time. The second thing I had to do was breath into this blue gun shaped thing to see how well I'm breathing. Apparently, I wasnt able to breathe very well because everytime I blew into it the machine would display comments at the bottom of the screen reading "Blow harder next time." "You hesitated." and, my personal favorite, "You need to try harder." >_< What kind of crap is that?! A little encouragment would go a long way - bitch. What kind of machine talks back like that? After that they made me take a breathing treatment which wasnt all that bad. The only thing that sucked was that I had to stick this thick tube in my mouth and keep it there for fifteen minutes. ..... ............. .......... Why couldnt they just give me a mask? Bastards.
Turns out I'm 40% asthmatic. They gave me a perscription for two inhalers, some gooey stuff and pills. The doctor wasnt quit positive that was the complete problem though so she sent me to get my chest x-rayed. I should be getting the results back from that in two weeks when I go for a check-up. If anything is seriously wrong they will call.
We dont have the money for my medicine as of yet so until then I'm stuck with sleepless nights and being stuck at home because my mothers too afraid that I'll die if I leave the house. I think the worst part out of all of this is not being able to sleep. I cant lay down without coughing a lung up. I ended up sleeping sitting up on the floor last night with my head on the couch. What a VERY uncomfortable position that was.
