Take 2...
Following my icon, here is a quick update...
Grace: I apparently decided on Saturday that I needed to pout about the weight I put on this year. So, for a good 2 hours I behaved like a sullen emo teenager. Thank goodness Jonathan is really understanding and patient, not that I do this often, but still. He's fabu. :)
Charm: I finally got a good project to do at work. I needed something substantive and analytical to put on my resume, and I finally got it. I'm really excited - I was under strict orders from recruiters to "get some experience working with numbers" this summer, and I'm glad all my patient requests were finally answered.
Power: I bought a new book yesterday - Barbarians at the Gate, which is about KKR, the firm that saw LBOs through their most vogue season, and the deal that threatened their reign. Super excited, but it's a super long book...
