Iceland...
Yea thats right...I made it to freaking Iceland! I got here on July 13...so I've been here for about 2 weeks now. Its beautiful...just like I imagined. I miss home already but sadly enough I won't grace the states with my presence for another year. The differences between the states and here are crazy...the cokes taste different, the candy is different, everything is so much more expensive here too...but i managed to buy a laptop, ipod, and a digital camera...hell yea to COLA (cost of living allowance). Today I am attending a mandatory Hail and Bless party. I'll leave here and head to Japan next year around August or September. The people here are great but I do miss everyone so much...so feel free to e-mail me pics and stuff. Oh and just to let everyone know Iceland is 5 hours ahead of Texas...so when its noon for you'll its really 5:00 pm for me...its crazy an i'm still trying to adjust.
