Back to reality

Hi all
I survived the week camping in Scotland, shock horror!
Now back in sunny Pudsey (yes I do mean that, I had to come in from sitting in the garden as it was too hot!)
It's nice to be back. Lovely to be back at church - we'd only missed Sunday night, Monday night prayer meeting and Friday night kids clubs - but it felt like forever.
The weekend was brilliant, such a heavy anointing throughout. It's like God's really pulling us together as a church. I can't explain it in words well, just feel really connected to and committed to each other. God is wonderful, I just pray that others will come to realise that too.

Other news, Sarah and I have decided to try doing encaustic wax cards, the stuff should be delivered this week and we're going to start at the weekend!
My Lord of the Rings poster is in at the framers and I have a place picked out for it to hang when it's ready.
My photos from Arran will be ready to pick up tomorrow, I am looking forward to seeing if they've turned out ok.
My mum's down visiting at the moment - we went to the garden centre today and saw the biggest heron ever in the duckpond. It flew away as I was getting my camera out but I managed to get a picture of it in flight. That was amazing.
OK, that's enough typing, I'm going to go be sociable now...
