My little out-of-town adventure.
Our convention at Cristina Villas in Antipolo the other week was boring. And the location they chose was too far up the mountainside that it would've been very inconvenient for klasikal and lian06liz to pay me a visit. Plus, the activities were going non-stop that I barely had any sleep during those nights. *sighs*
So when we finally got to Makati I couldn't help but be relieved to be back in "civilization". xD
We checked in, watched Animax, freshened up, then headed to Greenbelt to meet some friends. I met shin_michael and we walked around, had coffee and enjoyed talking. Then I went back to rejoin my schoolmates and Sir Naruto (lots of inside jokes about this one, really - including a certain Negotiable Instruments Law exam of his xD), had dinner, then went back to the hotel to relax and do a little packing. Of course, Kakai and I couldn't help but check out every bookstore we'd come across as we were both itching to buy something. Ah, books. ^_^
The next day, Kakai and I had breakfast at the hotel using our free meal coupons, then watched Detective Conan in our room. xD Afterwards we took pictures and goofed around a bit, before we finally headed out to the airport to check in our stuff in advance. After the airport, we went straight to SM Mall of Asia. After walking around, making mental notes about the location of the different bookstores, and having lunch, Kakai and I went off to meet xcerpted. *squeals*
We talked, walked around, checked out bookstores, dropped by Comic Alley - which Sir Naruto was extremely happy to stumble across and he went out of it with a new Gundam model - and then, had real ice cream. xD
We ate at Icebergs and indulged in craziness. Well, Kakai did say she wanted to do something crazy. At first they wanted to ice skate, but when they saw there were too many people lining up we agreed to do so the next time we visit Manila. Then Kakai wanted to ride the merry-go-around - which would be, of course, total craziness. We all wanted ice cream, though, so ice cream we stuffed ourselves with.

Introducing... the Oreo Girls!
Kakai ordered an Orange Choco Parfait but was served an Oreo Parfait; xcerpted ordered a Chocolate Sundae but was served an Oreo Sundae. Oreo just loves them. xD
Me: "Is this real ice cream?" *poke* *poke*
