And so here is my long-promised photo post of doom. Whee. :D Anyway, I'm not sure how to go about with this, so... I'm gonna be random? And these are few because I haven't gotten all the pics yet. These are just from two sources. I still have to continue collecting. XD;
Let's start with the main cast costumes! ♥ These are the ones that have been patterned exactly after the original animated designs and those with revisions are only very minimal.

Etoile |
Marjoly |
Crowdia |
Myao |
Gao |
Sharte |
Terra You can see Terra's original costume design
here.
And then there were others we revised.
This is Kururu's original costume design, but we changed the colors to orange and pink instead of violet and pink because it's going to look better on stage. We didn't have time to have the headdress made so we just used ribbons. And we borrowed the wings. But for the restage we're going to go for the complete wardrobe already. :D
Kururu looking cute Our Ferdinand didn't want to wear
the skirty costume so we picked out another one. Virtual chocolates for those who can guess which game (and character) we got his new costume design from!
falling in love My brother's vain. He's the Ancient Weapon, the big bad red hunk of metal that goes on a killing spree. But he didn't want to be a robot. He wanted to be cool. So he ended up with that costume patterned after
this outfit of Syaoran. His sword is even like Syaoran's. He makes me fangirl so much. ♥
Marjoly vs the Ancient Weapon Okay, pics before the play! These shots were taken during our technical rehearsal in the morning and in those moments in between.

say goodnight to your puppets now Second scene: Cornet is grown up now, and after dreaming about the Prince she goes to the village to sing a song. Haha. She meets her snobby rival, Etoile, and gets ambushed by Myao and her kitties. But she's rescued by Ferdinand. Oops, I don't have a picture of that. XD

XD However, she sings her way to Ferdinand's heart, and she and Etoile are declared as winners. She's now invited to Ferdinand's birthday ball.

Etoile wants to be the only winner Fourth scene: Cornet and Ferdinand dance, and, well, fall in love. But guess who comes to crash the party? Our favorite little witch, Marjoly. She comes intending to punish the guy who hurt Myao, but she's starstruck by the Prince, and she tries to cast a love spell on him. Unfortunately, the spell backfires and Ferdinand is turned to stone. Oops.

Fortunately, her grandfather helps her by giving her the Fire Stone. Meanwhile, in Marjoly's castle... well, the bad guys have a little dancing spree.

the tragic end of Michael and Caroline Ninth scene: Ambushed by Myao again! Turns out they had the Wind Stone all along - on the necklace Ferdinand gave Cornet. But then the ghost of Cornet's deceased mother appears to drive them away. Cornet and the puppets return home, her grandfather tells her she has to go to Marjoly's castle, but then Kururu faints. Cornet is sent into Kururu's dreams and we find out that the spirit of Cornet's mother has been in Kururu all along, after she had been killed by the Ancient Weapon.
Cherie defends her daughter Tenth scene: The good guys head off to Marjoly's castle for the final showdown. Cornet and Ferdinand are reunited, and everything ends with the long-awaited wedding.
For the curious, there are no fight scene pics because they're all dances and they happen really fast. The pictures are all blurry. XD; The Cornet vs Gao, Sharte vs Crowdia and Terra vs Myao showdown was a mix of dancing, martial arts and swordfighting, while the battles between Marjoly and the Ancient Weapon as well as Cornet and the Ancient Weapon were purely dances. Dancesport style. That's the reason why I was so worried about my injury. My dance routine is the climax of the entire play. :D
