Awesome story! I really like how John's able to completely throw Sherlock and Mycroft off, while still being the in-awe-slightly-less-intelligent-more-emotionally-observant partner. I want to see more of this! (I'd also like to see the reactions of the Yard to meeting John.)

Very good idea and explanation for John and Sherlock's meeting, also.
