[ Filtered from drones:]

[ When you first press the phone against your ear, you are greeted with silence, but before you have even time to wonder if this a prank phone call from those darn drone kids, a song starts playing, accompanied by someone singing to it. The sound quality of this is not the best of course, as phones aren't meant for live ( Read more... )

You're such a show off. And why do you name your guitars after women?

[If you look hard enough, there's a bit of affection there! Really, really deep down.]

[ Chuckle. ] Hopefully you aren't jealous, Fräulein? Besides, I think it would be strange if I were to speak how nice, mm, Herr Frank sounds, ja?

I'm not jealous, I just think it's weird. Why name it at all?

Because she's important to me. And it gives a completely new feeling to playing when you're holding something that has a name. I believe many people give name to objects, ja?

I don't understand it when other people do it too--it's not just you.

But I'm not going to convince you to not name your guitars, which means that this conversation is kind of pointless.

Perhaps you should try it sometimes to know what it feels like. Though I have no idea what you should try naming, hm...

I've already named countless of guitars so stopping me at this point would indeed be quite pointless.

What would I do, name my luminol bottle? That's just silly.

[ He snickers at the mental image. ] Ja, that certainly would be silly... I didn't say it works on anything.

Scientifically speaking, there isn't that much difference between a bottle of luminol and a guitar. They're both physical objects.

... And I'd say that is the only thing connecting them. I don't know if my guitars should feel hurt.

Why would your guitars feel hurt? They don't have feelings.

[Seriously, Ema, do you not see the grave you're digging yourself here?]

[ Insert mental facepalm here. Though you can hear it by the way he groans. ]

I command you to find a decent object you can name and we'll have this conversation again after you've done enough scientific testing with.

You can't just order me around because I don't agree with you! And don't mock me!

[If a. she had any leftover Snackoos, and b. she could throw them through the phone, you'd totally be getting one to the head, Klavier. Just because you're dating her doesn't mean that she can't still get mad at you over petty things.]

I thought it would be something you would appreciate as it's been a while since you last got to do any scientific recearch, ja? But fine then, I won't order you to do it, but please keep the thought in your head at least. It's something you can only get by trying it out.

[ dfkjkgd breaaaath and remain your cool, Klavier. There's no fighting with this woman. ]

I guess. [You can here how totally unconvinced she is from her tone of voice, but at least she's not pushing the argument further.]
