Can I just tell you that I made a 100 on my blue book essay on my Western Lit test?
Since I wrote about Civil Disobedience I'm not surprised I did well..I loved that essay- Thoreau was amazing, why can't writers be like that nowadays?
Anyway I'm really excited about that grade..I studied hard.
I really need some adventure.
I want to go explore somewhere.
Mary & I walked to the gas station last night for coffee and I'm not sure how far it is but I'm assuming a few miles..and we even took the sketchy back alley way back..yet I'm still bored with my McKenzie life. That's freaking dumb. There's the water tower...but it's impossible to get to now because of the stupid barbed wire.
They treat all the fun stuff like Alcatraz. Heyyy maybe butterfly bridge.
All of my classes were canceled today.
All I have is chapel at 11.
And then I'm going swimming.
And then Kara and I are gonna ride bikes..
and then I'm going to work on this stupid Humanities Art project.
My theme is "Time"
It's just a billion different black and white pictures of clocks and train schedules and bus schedules and calendars from different perspectives..and the idea is for all of those pictures to spell out TIME and have one of these quotes painted at the bottom :
Time is a versatile performer. It flies, marches on, heals all wounds, runs out, and will tell.
He who kills time injures eternity.
If you must kill time, work it to death.
Teach us to make the most of our time, so that we may grow in wisdom.
-Psalm 90:12
Young man, it's wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.
Ecclesiastes 11:9
Yeah..
