It wasn't really a slashy episode today, but that doesn't matter. Because it was just about the best. Episode. EVER.
Just- Paul Robinson. How could I love you more? I thought that this was indeed impossible, until I saw today's episode. I think what might have pushed my love for you to very worrisome proportions is that you're fucking around with the feelings of my least favourite Neighbours character. FINALLY, Lynn gets hers! OMG his smirk! His devious, devious mind! When Lynn was all, "Oh, you shouldn't blame yourself over Evil!Rob, Paul," and Paul was all "wtf woman?! I don't! Because I have no conscience!" it was seriously the best scene for months. MONTHS.
Also, Paul Robinson hitting on a nun. HILARIOUS. But wtf Carmella going to a bar and having a drink?? This makes no sense. Does anyone think that Ned maybe likes her? Or was he just doing his usual bad-acting-am-awkward-with-girls thing? Emote dammit, Ned. EMOTE.
This was like, the best written Neighbours episode ever! It was so making fun of itself! When Karl was all "I was trying to hold onto my youth!" and Susan was all "yes, the pink argyle jumper gave it away!" I was all OMG OMG. Is it bad that I think Susan and Karl are actually quite sweet? I think it's because they have good chemistry. Well, they were my TV!Parents for about 10 years, so I guess that's okay. Hmm.
Also, Bree looks ridiculous.
Also, was loving loving LOVING the Paul and Cam reunion sesh! Ha ha, Cam is sort of evil in a smirking Paul way! When Paul was all repeating himself, "oh he will, son. HE WILL," about Rob, it was great. But am worried that Paul's new discovery that he and Cam have a whole lot in common will mean that there will be no room left for Dylan. My poor puppy! They better not squander the Paul/Dylan relationship. They spent about 18 months building it up! They need some triangle jealousy between Cam and Dylan! If Dylan and Paul go back to being just casual acquaintances and never have another scene together, I will possibly go crazy.
Goodness me. How much have I wrote? Well, it was a brilliant ep! Oh Paul. You are so cool. And the scars on your face only add to your rugged appearance. I'm sure they will be gone tomorrow though, because Neighbours isn't really known for its continuity. The only continuous thing is that YOU ARE GOD.
