so since my sister and her wife came into town, i seriously fell behind in my school work and studying. I took a quiz yesterday in my history and styles of jazz class yesterday and i totally failed it because stupid me...i know better than to go back and second guess myself (test taking strategies 101) but i ended up changing half of my answers because the prof. wouldn't take up the quizzes quick enough. So we went over the quiz and but of course most of my first answers were dead on. (ARRRGGH) but besides that i worked on my rdg assignment last night at work and finished it this morning. i have another paper due in my jazz class but i already did it (it's only worth ten points) so the paper sucks totally (i'll be surprised if i get five pts. on it) i'm usually so much better with school, but since this class is just a filler not even an elective (it was just that extra three hours needed to get fin. aid) so i'm having trouble getting into that course and also if i haven't mentioned it already, my prof. is a privileged misogynist dickhead who gets a stiffy thinking about louis armstrong, i swear you should hear this homo talk about some off the jazz musicians discussed in the text. i try my best not to roll my eyes, when this guy tries to play off as a straight man when earlier he was just ohhhing and ahhhing over the sensuousness of this guys trumpet playing. okay i'm spent on venting. i should get back to work.
