I am seriously psyched!
I got a phone call today from a Wisconsin Obama supporter letting me know that there is a local Obama Campaign 'office' in my town (and omg I live in RURAL Wisconsin). I went down there tonight and found my town's former librarian (who is the coolest liberal/poet/musician guy in the county) there. He showed me how they manage phone calls to local people to talk about Obama and it's quite organized and scientific. I'm impressed! So, much as I hate the idea of phoning for votes, I'm going there Monday night to work. I wanna feel like I've done something to make this thing happen and I never expected such a local opportunity!
Oh, and I finally have my Obama yard sign now!
