An update!
This is a completely free, public-only (Yahoo! employees cannot participate, but are allowed to attend) event for those with coding or electronics backgrounds who want to experiment and create and win awesome prizes. Registration is still on HackDay.org. So, come out, have fun, eat pizza, watch the concert on Saturday evening, build and code stuff, and check out the Yahoo! Sunnyvale campus.
