I like a guy that happens to be gay in real life for the first time.

You'd think that would be a good thing.

Two guys have asked me out in the past, but it was more for sex than dating-- which I don't want in any way whatsoever. I want a relationship. Unfortunately out of the 25+ gay guys I know around my age, this is the case with none of them.

I think it might be with.. uh, we'll call him.. uh.. a dodgy name. Erik. Oh, shoot, you're not supposed to use real names when doing that, are you? Oh well.

So Erik seems to be really nice. And he's cute. And I like his goofy personality. Reminds me a lot of mine. And he is totally... "straight-acting", which is hot in itself, which I'm also unfamiliar with mostly (except for myself :|).

So he's nice and laughs at my jokes and tells funny ones himself, and I've known him for about 4 hours every Friday or so at the GLCC (Gay and Lesbian Community Centre-- there's a youth group from 7-11 on Fridays) since May. He hasn't had a boyfriend the entire time I was there.

I try really hard to flirt with him, but it's like I have no idea how.

I told my best friend, we'll call her... Maika, (oops, her real name), and she was talking to him about boyfriends today at the GLCC.

She asked him why he wasn't wearing deoderant (when someone else asked what kind he wore), and he replied something like, "When it seems impossible for anyone to say yes to me, there's no reason to take care of yourself anymore," or something, in which Maika told me that she thinks I have a chance with him.

So, I left 2 and a half hours early because Maika was leaving early and she was my preferred ride, and when I told Erik goodbye, he was like, "Tim! No! Don't leave me! " and I was like, "I want Maika's mom to drive me homeeee", and he was like, "Come onnn, stayyy, ", and then we hugged for a really long time and I said goodbye.

That was really long and uninteresting. I'm sorry.
