me and my dad have been trying to persuade my nan to get her attic converted into..a room for me! i really want to move out of my house as soon as i can so that'll be after 6th year when i go to uni, but i don't think i will be able to afford to live any where else and my nan said i could live in the attic but pay her rent.
i'm so excited, i hope she gets it done, i did a wee drawing and everything (it's not very accurate though and the stairs are really rubbish) and according to that i should have a bedroom, a bathroom and another biggish room for studying and for housing my computer and my drawing board (i found an amazing A1 sized one but it is £450, so probably won't get that one) so yey
hopefully she gets something done about it this year, and gets stairs and stuff up into the attic and then next summer can be spent decorating!
i saw this really cool house in ravelstone (sp?), it's a sort of bungalow but it looks really big and has the attic done and what looks like a downstairs room. tis amazing. i can't wait to buy a house, or even build my own, there are so many different things you can do. well maybe in 30 or 40 years i may have enough money to do that and to buy my Aston Martin DB9. fun, fun.
we're doing architecture drawings in graphics, the are so much fun, well maybe not fun for some people but interesting and stuff. incase you didn't know or can't guess, i want to be an architect.
handed in my choice sheet for 6th year on monday, hopefully i will be doing:
Advanced Higher Graphics (yey!)
Advanced Higher Maths (oh no!)
Higher Art and Design (should be ok)
Higher Physics (ahhhhh!)
It seems like quite a lot but hopefully it will be ok. 'fingers crossed'
