wow, only 5 days until the big run. i ran 8 on sunday, and it's usually not too bad, but i didn't bring water with me and pittsburgh was up in the mid 80s. i had not run a long hot day in a long time and was parched. i realize there are water stations all along the way, but even so.
i have greatly enjoyed working outside in this weather though. i finally planted the sunflowers last night. i hope for returning success. courtney also gave me a bunch of seeds that I need to get germinating; should be exciting.
been on a early-mid nineties alternative kick as of late. saturday and sunday all car rides were accompanied by pearl jam. yesterday was alice in chains and oasis. phil gave me the constantines to listen to last week and i am enjoying that, but it doesn't seem to have the sticking power that the music of my youth had...
