I went to watch the Pirates and the Mets tonight alone, and I brought resumes along that I am reviewing for a position we need to fill at work. I love that PNC Park is a short walk/bike ride from home, despite our team. I also love it when I hear fathers connecting with their sons discussing baseball strategy. And then I feel weird when I hear guys debating obscure sports facts that ultimately lead... where? But I suppose sports spectatorship provides a lot of that- care in inanimate concepts while others starve. Maybe?
