Hello all. Once again I return from a long absence, mostly induced due to way too much uni work, and for the first semester ever, a job.

I was fairly pleased with my results:

Crime scene investigation: High Distinction
Physical Evidence 1: Distinction
Forensic Toxicology 1: Distinction
Analytical Chemistry 2: Credit.

Not so happy with AC2, but this is the best semester I have had to date. I had assumed that a job would make my marks worse, but apparently not.

Anyway, more happy. The Guy and I are still together, and live together several days a week. He's gone snowboarding for a week, so I'm back home. Except for the volunteer program I'm doing in the next week which necessitates being at uni for the majority of the week.

Less happy, my job sucks. The coworkers are clique-y and unpleasant, the customers are raging idiots, and I have been getting only two shifts a week. I could understand that there are less customers at the moment, so less staff required. But there are about 5 newbies, who are younger and are paid a lot less than me (as little as half my wage). I have trained 4 of these kids. And they are the ones who have gotten my shifts. So yes, I'm a little annoyed.

But today was pretty shocking. A women returned an hour after I returned an item for her, claiming I hadn't given her $20 of her $45 refund. WTF? She noticed this an hour later? She didn't notice I counted out the money? She didn't check before shoving it into her pocket? Apparently not. So the supervisor, being as lovely and disrespectful as she is, assumed I had done something wrong, counted the register, and moved me to the door where I could do no further damage. Honestly, it was insinuated that I had stolen the money or something equally heinous. I left at lunch, but I will be asking whether I was out after the count tomorrow (they can't tell with refund registers until the end of the day).

So, the plan. Obviously I didn't steal the money. I have no pockets in my uniform, and I'm not that god damn stupid, what with three cameras on me. I'm also sick of the suburb I'm working in. And of the job itself. A transfer may be in order.

Anyway, hope everyone is well.
