I Made an Observation Today

When travelling on the London Unerground, I ONLY ever see buskers on the trains when I am on the Northern Line, and always when going between London Bridge and King's Cross (though to be fair, this is the stretch of that line that I usually travel on!) The guy who got on today was a laugh, and he started playing spice girls songs to me.

Earler today, I watched the second half of Paraguay v New Zealand in Mustard (the name of a pub) with some of the office Kiwi contingent, but it was a bore draw, and New Zealand are out; hilariously, so are Italy (a bunch of Italians were in the same pub as us and we kept hearing them go wild whenever their team actually scored). I spent the rest of the evening at a lecture on Archicecture from someone called Rafael Vinoly; he was talking a lot about the 20 Fenchurch Street development and Battersea Power Station.

football, planning, strange things, music, world cup, trains, world view
