The opening was very unlike anything I've seen on Doctor Who - the stag do could have been a scene from Gavin and Stacey; the Doctor popping out of the cake was one of the funniest Doctor Who moments ever.
I loved seeing Rory again, though I'm not entirely certain about the idea of him actually joining the Doctor as a ocmpanion, but he was hilarious throughout. I also spent a lot of the episode racking my brains to figure out who that one vampire guy was, and then I figured out he played the 80s ghost on Being Human!
I quite liked the Doctor's explanation for the fact that vampires (alien fish) do not reflect in mirrors, and strangely, the "queen" of the vampires seemed almost sympathetic at times and I found it hard not to feel sorry for her at the end. I was rather interested that she used the "A storm is coming line", which the Doctor used in "Fear Her" (only this time she meant it literally).
I'm getting tired of the Doctor constantly shutting Amy up when she comes up with an idea, though - give her a chance!
